Gold is ever so slightly out of sync with our forecast which means we should all be concerned. Today it moved a teeny bit above an important trend line but with the markets and platforms are controlled this may mean nothing at all. Time to sit back and keep a close eye on things.
There is no change to our forecast on the FTSE 100 today. Over the next few days we are looking for resistance between 7167 and 7180 as a turn down at these levels will increase our confidence that our long entry points will be hit – if not this index could continued to push forwards to the short entry point at 7500 (ish).
